Cloves are one of the key spices that give Javazen Pumpkin Spice its signature taste.

What are Cloves?

Cloves are a brownish-red, aromatic spice produced from the dried, green flower buds of an evergreen, clove tree. The spice is widely cultivated in the islands of Indonesia and commercially harvested and sold throughout Southeastern Asia and Africa year-round. Here, at Javazen, we believe cloves’ nutritious properties, delicious taste, and aromatic scent all contribute to our motto of being present and living your life to its fullest potential.

Health benefits of Cloves

Cloves have been globally consumed and used for centuries not only for its great tasting flavor and pleasing aroma but also for its medicinal properties. Cloves have been used in Chinese medicine for years, as a natural painkiller for medical procedures. In addition, cloves are used to improve digestive problems and other painful issues that may arise.

Because of cloves’ delicious, sweet flavor and a variety of health benefits, we have incorporated this ingredient into our Pumpkin Spice blend. The energizing effects of the cloves, when combined with our Tulsi tea, turmeric, cardamom, and ginger, create a synergy of balanced energy that will keep you feeling energized and zenful throughout your day.

Fun Fact: Did you know that Indonesia is the biggest consumers of cloves in the world?
